CT Kids Day Gathering - Any Middle Schoolers going?

From: adelcoll (adelcoll@yahoo.com) | Date: 2002-10-02 13:43:57 UTC
Hi,
Anyone bringing Middle School age kids (grades 6-9)? Looking for
some "ammo" to convince mine that this would be a fund thing to do!
Thanks,
Kim (Adelcoll,Cavy-Lovers)

ah--kids 10 - 13 --great
How about any older ones --like a mom or dad or aunt or uncle ?? I am
the oldest kid-- realll old.
It is going to be fun. Don't let all the crazy dates people are tossing
out fool you the REAL Kids Day is Oct. 20 , Sunday.

Unfortunatly, I cannot make the gathering...
But if you need ammo....
My son and I are very excited about letterboxing...in fact, I got my whole
Boy Scout Troop involved in this...we are planting letterboxes at the local
reservation. And all of them are in middle school!

We are  looking forward to meeting all the "big kids" and exchanging as well as meeting the younger kids. We have decided that even though it is kids day at Rocky Neck we are leaving our 4-year-old and 2-year-old with Grandma so we can take advantage of being down by the shore and boxing our hearts out without having to worry about anyone falling asleep between stops. We plan to box, box, box 'til we drop!
Can't wait to meet all of you, young and old!!!
